Learning Acupuncture

A knowledge of veterinary anatomy and medicine is essential to the practice of veterinary acupuncture.

Veterinarians who have studied physiology and pathology, who know the course of diseases and who have accumulated clinical experience can usefully apply veterinary acupuncture in the treatment of many functional diseases provided they have also acquired an equivalent knowledge and skill in veterinary acupuncture.

The Australian Veterinary Acupuncture Group hosts the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society Certification Course with teachers drawn from Australia and overseas.
